Description
The M8 is the latest and smallest in ARRI’s highly successful M-Series HMI line. Like the rest of the M-Series, the M8 features MAX Technology, a unique, patented reflector design that combines the advantages of Fresnel and PAR lamps.
The combination of an open-face design and the unparalleled efficiency of the MAX Technology reflector makes the M8 exceptionally bright; in fact, the light output from an 800W lamp is close to that of a 1,200W Fresnel or PAR (with lens). The fixture can be focused between 15° and 60° with a simple turn of the focus knob, producing remarkably even light fields and crisp, clear shadows. By eliminating the need for bulky, fragile spread lenses, the M8 speeds up on-set workflows.
